“Spending a weekend doing beach cleanup with the team is truly a massive eye-opener, we love enjoying our time at the beach with friends and family especially in the summer but we should be aware and hold ourselves accountable as to how we are contributing to our environment. Are we keeping the trash away? Are we bringing only the stuff we need? Are we educating our kids the proper ways of recycling and keeping the trash? This is something that needs attention and I as a volunteer invite you on our weekly session to do something for the environment we live in and help foster a cleaner future. ”

“I’m doing the Environmental Volunteering with V4L and the team is very experienced, they really know what they’re doing. We’re helping observe and collect data on recycling, learning how to protect the our ecosystem and removing trash from the beaches. I feel like I’m helping a lot with the recycling and cleaning work and I can visibly see that we’re making an impact.”

“Climate change is real and we as individuals need to take it up to ourselves as to what we can do for our earth, this environment and our children of the future. Cleanliness is a part of faith, not only due to this but because we need our environment clean to reverse the effects of climate change. It is our duty to do whatever in our hands possible to contribute to our community. The beach cleanup drive is my favorite volunteering experience here at V4L and I am proud to serve my community and I welcome you all to join me!”
