Change begins with us! One good gesture can change the world!
We all tend to buy new clothes every now and then old clothes just sit at the bottoms of our wardrobes and storage rooms without any usage. Instead of this, we could think about the less privileged families and donate them our clothes. I encourage you all to do this because it will give you inner peace knowing that you helped someone.

I never thought i would be a teacher but ever since my friend suggested me to join the V4L, i have been taking multiple lesson teaching the underprivileged children. It has been a completely new experience for me and a wonderful one at it. The beautiful smiling faces of these children motivate me the most to do more for my community.

Never thought helping friends in university doing group study would help me be a teacher and to be honest, I am really happy with my performance teaching children with V4L. I'm not sure if i will pursue teaching as my career but this volunteering has really developed myself and it surely is a viable option for me now. Apart from this, i love to work with children and try and nourish their minds for a better future for all of us.

I volunteer because i know that change starts from individuals and then moves onto the societies and regions. We must be willing to do whatever in our hands for our local communities in order to see any true change in this world only then we can truly question the stakeholders and hold them accountable. Social Welfare programme at V4L is the right place to start volunteering and we must spread the word to our friends and families about it!
